Jonathan passed from us around 11PM on 9/10/08 due to a motor accident with an ATV. There are no words to express this loss to his family, friends, and, yes, even the world. He was the finest of young men whose years of contribution were just beginning.

Wake/Viewing Service, Saturday 9/13/08 from 5-8 PM. You are invited to participate with us at a wake/viewing service. You may share humorous stories, anecdotes or express your thoughts if you so choose. People will typically not stay the whole time.

Funeral Celebration Service, Sunday 9/14/08 at 1PM. This will be a celebration of JB's life and will last approximately one hour. ALL are welcome to attend. Following the celebration service there will be no graveside activity except for immediate family members and pall bearers.

Location. Hansen Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell, just west of Scottsdale Road on the north side of Bell. Call Hansen at (480) 607-1999 if you need further travel direction.

Alternately, you may call, write or email his mother:

For JB's Friends & Family

GO HERE: A must read news story regarding JB's life labeled "inspirational" appeared in the Scottsdale Republic.

Links to the video and music used at JB's Spirit of Celebration Service are below in several formats. Pick the one that works best on your machine. Streaming video requires high speed internet, so if you have any problems try downloading the movie in its entirety: To download on a PC, Right-Click on the file link; on a Mac, Option-Click on the file link. If you stream, pause the movie to let the download get ahead of the play point.

Due to many requests we are sharing handheld video of the service in which you can hear tributes paid to him (60 min).

Music (mp3) Used in the Chapel is available in zip files for easy downloading. Here's a free zip utility to open the files if you need one.

Finally, here's a video done in honor of JB's 28th Birthday.mov this past year. Be patient while it loads.

We want to help people remember their friend and to share memories.

Send a Message

If you would like to leave a message for JB's family and friends please go to Legacy.com Guest Book and make an entry and see what others are saying. We are trying to think of a fitting memorial — any suggestions would be welcome. One idea we're looking at is establishing the Lifesong Foundation to help educate and better the lives of children.

Download Problems?

We have reports that some people are having download or online playback problems. If you are on a PC you may need the Quicktime Pro version to download the movies. Try using the .wmv or other versions we have placed online.

If you continue to have problems please email drclay@cox.net with words "Notify Me" in the subject if you are still having problems after this fix.

"Now cracks a noble heart.
Good night, sweet prince,
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"

—Horatio, of his friend Hamlet

Llfesong

Empty hands held high
Such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight

May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You

Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
I want to sign Your name
to the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let my lifesong sing to You

Lord I give my life
A living sacrifice
To reach a world in need
To be Your hands and feet

So may the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Let my lifesong sing to You

—Casting Crowns
